Hello again, Children’s Arts Theatre School family!
We have a really special event coming up this Sunday, February 12th at Casa Loma! It’s the City Parent Family Show and we’ll be representing with a show from 2-2:30pm as well as a booth with fun, games, and information all day long!
The event offers so much for parents and children of all ages! Enjoy entertainment, games, prizes, performers and special guests. Booths and hands-on displays feature local attractions, camps, schools and more. The first 1,000 attendees to this show receive a FREE loot bag. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Myself and other fantastic CATS staff, including our Founder and CEO, Gina Anki, will be around to talk and play. Come say “Hello!” and learn more about our CATS Drama classes, CATS Mainstage productions, and Theatrix Costume House!
More information of City Parent’s Family Day at Casa Loma can be found here. Hope to see you on Sunday to share in the joy and magic of theatre!
Yours in blogging,
Breanne
Hello again, CATS lovers! …And by CATS lovers I mean Children’s Arts Theatre School supporters, not feline enthusiasts.
I wanted to let you know about our amazing Family Day and Family Week events. As you probably know, Family Day is on Monday, February 20th. If you are registered for Monday classes, unfortunately there will be no classes that day. However, the week following packs lots of fun and excitement here at CATS! All classes happening on Tuesday, February 21st – Saturday, February 25th get to participate in our Family Participation Week! This is a time when parents, siblings, or whoever you consider family, can come experience a class with us and your bright student!
Family Participation Week will give families of our students the chance to see them in action! Every class is different, but myself and Michael Hodgson will be running a class filled with our usual warm-up and energy boosting activities, followed by lessons to continue building theatre skills, then running rehearsal for our Spring shows.
It should be a fun time for all and we look forward to having more time to meet all of our amazing students’ supporters! See you then and remember to keep the magic of theatre alive!
